Help Me Restore our Economy

As you all know, there is no bigger issue in this election than our economy.

With Americans losing their homes, their jobs, their businesses, and their retirement savings in record numbers, the choice for the next Congress will be simple-do something, or do nothing.

Doing nothing is not an option.  That's why I've released a plan to cut taxes, reduce energy and healthcare costs, and create thousands of new jobs.   It's why I also believe the illegal activities of those who created this mess should be prosecuted.

Tom McClintock says we should do nothing.  He wants even less oversight over the fat cats who helped create our current financial meltdown.  In every one of our 5 debates, he's said families pursuing the American Dream are to blame, and predatory lenders are the victims.

I guess when you've been in living off taxpayers as long as Tom has, you lose touch with reality. "Tom the Politician" gets a huge government salary, free healthcare, free cars, a free gas card, and tax free perks he's not even entitled to-whether he does his job or not. 

His signs all say "HelpTom."  But I think taxpayers have already helped Tom enough.  And he paid us back by voting against healthcare for kids and for seniors, and writing a bill to deny health coverage to anyone who has been sick in the last 10 years.

So I am asking you to help Tom once again.  Help send Tom where his failed policies have sent so many others---the unemployment line.

Twenty six years in the Air Force, 8 years at a police department, and 3 and a half years performing oversight at a financial institution taught me one immutable fact:  leadership decisions come with consequences, and you are either solving problems, or you are part of the problem.

I'm not in this race to pursue a career in politics.  I'm running to solve problems, and get our country back on track.  And together, over the next 13 days, I know we can win this election and do just that.
