Did you "Vote By Mail" or cast a "Provisional Ballot" on election day? 

Use the information and phone numbers below to check whether your vote was counted.

Placer County Residents:  530-886-5650

• Call and ask for the elections division at the registrar of voters. Give your name and ask if your provisional ballot has been counted. They will look it up and call you back.

• If you voted by mail, you can check the status of your ballot by calling the Registrar's office, or by visiting the Placer County Elections office online:  http://www.placer.ca.gov/Departments/Recorder/Elections/BallotLookup.aspx

El Dorado County Residents:  (530) 621-7480


• Once the election has been certified residents can call the elections division at the registrar's office and they will check if your provisional ballot was counted.

• You can check the status of your vote-by-mail ballot at this link:  http://elections.co.el-dorado.ca.us/vbm.fwx

• You can verify that your provisional or vote by mail ballot was received online at the Nevada County Registrars office.   http://new.mynevadacounty.com/elections/#

• You can also call the registrars office at the number above, and they will look up your ballot status using your name.

• Call the registrars office, give your name, and inquire about your ballot status.

• You can call the Registrars office after the election is certified with the reciept number from the provisional ballot or you will be able to look up the status of either your provisional or vote by mail ballot online at the Butte County registrars office.  http://clerk-recorder.buttecounty.net/
